Football body UEFA is looking to broaden the sport’s
appeal in Switzerland with a series of experiential events
ahead of the country playing host to Euro 2008. ‘Play
Football – Switzerland on Tour’ is a moving exhibition
focused around a 900 sqm ‘Football Village’ featuring
a free kick wall, precision passing games, a speed gauge
for shots and table football. The roadshow will visit 70
locations in Switzerland throughout May and June encouraging
visitors to hone their football skills, learn more about
the tournament and inspire participation in football beyond
Euro 2008.
