The Brief
McWilliam's is a real Australian winemaking family that is down to earth, gutsy and a little quirky with a 'take me as I am attitude'. The family is full of life, true to themselves and - most of all - passionate about wine making.
Wine and art are a great mix and McWilliam's is the sole sponsor of the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea, South London. The McWilliam's family asked BEcause Experiential Marketing to help bring their wine brand to life during the Fair's open days and Private View evenings.
The Solution
BEcause implemented a full working bar and satellite sampling station within the art fair - both of which were fully branded and designed to create a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere. Visitors were invited to taste the wine on entry to the fair and then encouraged to visit 'McWilliams Territory' when it was time to sit down and
'talk art' over a glass of wine.
The BEcause Brand Ambassadors were hand-picked genuine Aussies who reflected the personality and character of the McWilliam's family itself: big characters, passionate about their wine, with engaging and friendly attitudes.
During the Private View nights, the Brand Advocates were on hand to supply the wine to the invitees, educate them on the McWilliam's range of wines and to engage them with stories of the McWilliam's family history and experiences.
